HAPPENED TO

MANKIND’S

DREAM OF

PEACE?

"And in a flash there appeared with the angel a vast host of the armies of heaven, praising God, saying,

 

GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN!

PEACE UPON EARTH AMONG MEN OF GOOD WILL!"

 

It is a beautiful dream: 

"On earth peace, goodwill toward men."

Whatever happened to it?

 

"Let us dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago:

to tame the savageness of men and make gentle the life of the world.

Let us dedicate ourselves to that, and say a prayer for our country and for our people”
